The International Energy Agency’s Ocean Energy Systems (IEA-OES) announced that the next edition of the Global Ocean Energy event, ICOE 2026, will take place in The Hague, Netherlands. The announcement was made at this year’s event, held September 17-19 in Melbourne, Australia. This energy conference, especially focused on wave, tidal, ocean currents, OTEC and salinity gradient technologies, will be organized by the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA), in collaboration with partners Campus@Sea, The Hague & Partners, Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), TU Delft, IRO and NedZero.

“The Netherlands, with its rich maritime history and expertise in water management, is a global leader in offshore energy innovation.
