Report on ORE skills needs
The present report performs a skills intelligence analysis, assessing the current skills demand and supply, and comparing the two in order to identify and highlight existing gaps and shortages that need to be addressed.
The Offshore Renewable Energies sector is booming. It is expected to create between 20,000 and 54,000 new jobs within the following five years. However, to achieve such a promising figure, we need to make sure the training opportunities offered across Europe actually match the current and upcoming needs of the sector.
In order to analyse these trends, in the FLORES Observatory we map the existing trainings offer across the EU and forecast the upcoming trends in the sector and how they will impact the need for workers.
Check this document to learn about how to better stimulate dedicated training offer for the Offshore Renewable Sector, while also promoting innovative approaches in LLL (Life-Long Learning) and good practices for the syllabus design and teaching activities.
This report showcases the analysis of training offers collected by the FLORES partnership in order to identify occupational profiles within the ORE sector, shedding light on the training content, type, format and EQF levels.
