The Maritime Techology Cluster FVG, partner of the FLORES project, has participated in the 4th International Conference on Nautical and Maritime Culture, on 29th of November, in Venice.
With the support of the University of Trieste, the Italian National Association of Maritime Technic and the Spoke 8 of the innovation ecosystem INEST, our colleagues from MareFVG presented the experiencie of the pilot actions developed during the FLORES project in Italy. They also discussed about synergies with CHAlleNGE 4S project and the AVENTA group.
“We had the pleasure to organize a dedicated panel on the skills of the future. The panel has deepened the activities and the outputs of the pilot actions carried out in Italy, where we presented the methodology and the outcomes achieved in terms of involvement of students, enterprises and research centers to leverage the awareness on opportunities offered by offshore renewables”
The panel also addressed the catalogue and the piloting developed in the CHAllenGE 4S project, run by the cluster FVG in the frameworks of the Pact for Skills Shipbuilding, and the session closed with the contribution of the international offshore renewables company AVENTA, that provided an insight on their policy and activities to attract and retain talents in the sector.
MareFVG highlighted the importance of Pact for Skills and their role at EU level to track and animate education and training related priorities.
