WEI represents IrelandÂ’s wind energy industry, working to promote wind energy as an essential, economical and environmentally friendly part of the countryÂ’s low-carbon energy future. Our 200+ members, employing around 6,000 people, have come together to plan, build, operate and support the development of the countryÂ’s chief and most affordable renewable energy resource. WEI works to end IrelandÂ’s dependency on imported fossil fuels and to support IrelandÂ’s response to the climate emergency.
