WEGEMT is an umbrella organization of the largest network of universities in 20 European countries, all dealing with marine technology and related sciences. Has been active since the late 70s and it is at the forefront of the developments in matters that concern higher education and the Marine and Maritime industry. Among the actions to accomplish its mission as an Association, are the active participation in collaborative research projects, the organization of training courses to postgraduate students and professionals, the participation in groups/partnerships like the Waterborne TP, Hydrogen Europe and more.
