CIFP Valentín Paz Andrade is a public non-profit organization. Our institute supports the modernization of Spanish education and work to improve its quality, implementing European and world standards in Spanish vocational education school through various Erasmus initiatives. CIFP Valentín Paz Andrade is a vocational formation institute with a very large number of students (about 1000), age of 16-30 years, and teachers (about 100). In our institute, students are educating in different technical programs such as an wood trade and joinery, renewable energy and efciency, metal construction, automotive and installations maintenance. We offer basic, medium and high vocational formation in different courses inside our five professional fields of education. We have more than 50 workshops to teach technical classes and other classes to theoretical lessons. We offer extracurricular activities like a language classes, sports, music trial, and others. These activities actively support the initiatives of the foundation at local level. We have participated for more than ten years in diferent international projects, sending and receiving students and teachers to/from lot of European countries, cooperating with many public institutions. Our teachers, and specially International Department, are all highly experienced in project management and EU funding programs, contributing towards developing skills of participants in education, having an integrated approach by targeting capacity building at the level of youth and community stakeholders, such as parents, other teachers and institutes, but also NGOs and public authorities. CIFP Valentín Paz Andrade has signed over 100 partnerships with several European public institutions, schools, intermediates and NGOs. We focus our actions on the research of social needs and challenges and the use of innovative learning approaches. In this way, we actively connects research with action through the use of formal and non-formal learning approaches. Our teachers and institute management is composed by professionals with a wide range of qualifications, skills and professional profiles, united by a deep sharing of ideals. CIFP Valentín Paz Andrade have long history of cooperation with the Regional Education Administration (XUNTA) and Spanish Ministry of Education, participating and collaborating in numerous projects, new educational programs, model changes and improvements. All this activities, and daily work, being supervise for Educational Inspection to check we satisfy European and national requirements and quality. System of criteria and indicators to evaluate the achieved quality of education as suggested in state educational standard for inspection, regional rules and European requirements. Analysis and evaluation of the planned draft for state educational standard inspection methodology, methods and tools in carrying out the inspection. Institute has a Mandatory Rules Manual to personal and students where is reflected all these national, regional and European duties and rights. Any student and teacher could consult it and must know its content and its application. CIFP valentín Paz Andrade has students who are coming from disadvantaged area or need institutional support to study. Our institute takes in account these kind of situations offering help to apply for grants, psychological help. We have Training and Orienteering Department carrying on this labor.
