The European Year of Skills – What Comes Next?

This is the closing event of the European Year of Skills. It will take place on the 30 April in Brussels and online.

It will be a large-scale conference where hundreds of participants will come together to share successful skills stories and discuss the legacy of the European Year of Skills. During the event, they will look back at the achievements of the Year and reflect on the road ahead.

The conference will feature prominent political and stakeholder panels, inspiring speeches, insightful conversations, and interactive discussion groups on specific topics.

The FLORES project will participate in the ‘Pact for Skills’ in action panel, where our colleague Mariana Batista from WindEurope will talk about the Renewable Energy Skills Partnership.  She will bring along Elisabete Pinto da Silva, Steel structures specialist, one of the inspiring workers that were interviewed in the FLORES video series, to promote ORE jobs among the youth.
