Skills intelligence in the Offshore Renewable Energy sector

On Thursday 19 September 2024, EMB will host its 42nd Third Thursday Science Webinar featuring Lefteris Sdoukopoulos who will speak on the topic of «Skills intelligence in the Offshore Renewable Energy sector».

In this webinar, Dr Lefteris Sdoukopoulos will present the results of the recently concluded research work on building skills intelligence in the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) sector. This work was conducted within the framework of the FLORES project, of which EMB is also a partner. Taking a value chain approach and considering as a reference layer ESCO’s categorisation of occupational profiles, he will present the status quo of skills demand and supply in key European markets, as well as the impact that emerging trends are likely to impose on skills development in the short, medium and long-term.
