{"id":3782,"date":"2024-01-08T08:53:32","date_gmt":"2024-01-08T07:53:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oreskills.eu\/?p=3782"},"modified":"2024-01-08T08:53:34","modified_gmt":"2024-01-08T07:53:34","slug":"flores-at-the-1st-mission-arena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oreskills.eu\/fr\/flores-at-the-1st-mission-arena\/","title":{"rendered":"FLORES at the 1st Mission Arena"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The SUBMARINER Network, one of the partners of the FLORES project, organised the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bluemissionbanos.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Blue Mission BANOS<\/a>\u2019<\/strong>\u00a01st Mission Arena, a very relevant event in the Baltic Sea that took place on 14-16 November in Gothenburg, Sweden at the\u00a0Lindholmen Conference Centre. Through interactive sessions, workshops, pitching events, demonstrations and networking, the 1st Mission Arena served as a laboratory to:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pave the way for innovative blue economy solutions in the Western Baltic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Showcase local, regional and national approaches for&nbsp;a circular, carbon-neutral blue economy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide concrete pathways for the EU\u2019s Mission Ocean\u2019s success<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Baltic Sea Pilot Action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During this event, the FLORES project had an active presence, presenting some of its key initiavites. Colleagues from the project partners showcased FLORES to stakeholders from the Baltic and North Sea regions, <strong>marking the beginning of the ORE Skills Baltic Sea Pilot action.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the session on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/1st-mission-arena.b2match.io\/components\/32588?session=c2Vzc2lvbjoxNTE0Njg%3D\">How to close gender-gap in the blue economy<\/a>\u201d,\u00a0<strong>Susana Baston Meira, from the FLORES partner CETMAR,<\/strong>\u00a0will talk about the FLORES project and\u00a0<strong>how to have bigger involvement of women in maritime technologies such as ORE\u00a0<\/strong>(Offshore Renewable Energies). Se shares her personal journey as a woman working in the marine technologies sector, inspiring all attendees with her insights on overcoming challenges<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marko\u00a0Kovacevic, PO at the Submariner Network For Blue Growth,\u00a0<\/strong>was involved in different activivies.
