The Maritime Cluster of the Canary Islands (CMC) is an Innovative Business Group recognized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism, which has been invigorating the marine-maritime sector of the Canary Islands region since its inception. Its goal is to increase the competitiveness of SMEs by participating in various activities aimed at promoting innovation and internationalization for companies involved in the blue economy. This is achieved through the dissemination of knowledge, cooperation with its scientific and technological partners such as the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands, among others, as well as through collaboration in various R&D&I projects or by facilitating the participation of its members in these projects.
