CETMAR is a public foundation aimed at promoting the competitiveness of marine sectors by acting as an interface between research, education and training organisations, administrations and industry. Its scope extends at national, European and international level. CETMAR is currently involved in a large amount of projects of different scope and nature, and is at present coordinating several projects directly focusing on green skills and Ocean Literacy. CETMAR has lead the launch of the ORESkills partnership in the Pact for Skills, in 2021, and since then, holds the secretariat of this group.
